BBN Members can also transact business in person at any participating Member's place of business. To do so, both Buyer and Seller need to have a BBN Membership Card.

Membership Cards BBN Cards are offered to all Members at registration time. Accepted at BBN member businesses, BBN Membership Cards act as real-world credit cards, allowing you to make offline purchases at member restaurants, hotels, stores and offices at any time. In addition to purchasing services, technical support and assistance are also readily available. All Members with BBN Membership Cards are supplied with BBN Transaction Vouchers. The transaction vouchers are used in exactly the same manner as credit card operation.

Phone Services. Besides using online authorization feature, BBN Member has the privileges to use the assistance of a Trade Brokers or using our Auto-Broker (Interactive Voice Response - IVR) system which allows traders to instantly get transaction approval and authorization over the phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How does it Work

1. The Selling Member initiates the transaction. (Whether offline or online)
2. The Selling Member needs to complete a BBN Transaction voucher:
• Follow the instructions on the voucher,
• Write in their buyer’s Trading Account Number as appear in the card,
• Fill his your own Trading Account Number,
• Fill in the details of the transaction (e.g. restaurant meal)
3. The selling member needs to obtain authorization using the Phone Services ie by calling our Trade Broker dring office hours or through our Interactive Voice Response facility which is available 24 hours, 7 days a week:
• Dial Auto-Broker: 1-800-880-835
• You will be answered by the Auto-Broker, our Interactive Voice Response system which will walk you through the transaction authorization process.
• Auto-Broker will confirm for you the availability of TRM funds in the Purchasing Member’s account to pay for the transaction.
• Once the availability of funds has been confirmed and all other details are correct Auto-Broker will automatically transfer TRM funds from the Buying Member’s account to the Selling Member’s account and issue the Selling Member with an authorization number.
• It is most important that you record this authorization number on the voucher where specified as this is proof to both parties that the transaction actually occurred.
4. Completed vouchers should be posted by the Seller to BBN Network  within seven days.
